Breakfast Club and After School Care

Breakfast Club is run by Elm Wood staff and opens at 7:30am.

It runs from 7.30am to 9.00am and costs £3.50 per session.

Breakfast is served from 8am and is provided by Harrison Catering and children will have a choice of cereals, toast, fruit and juice. We are happy to cater for all special dietary requirements.

During the session there is always a selection of table top activities on offer as well as quiet areas for reading.

If you would like to book a place at Breakfast Club, you must contact Fit For Sport and register your child as they are now handling all the booking and payments for Elm Wood Breakfast Club. If your child already attends the After School Care provision at Elm Wood also provided by Fit For Sport you must still register your child for the Breakfast Club as it is a separate service.

After School Care

At Elm Wood After School Care provision are run by Fit For Sport. As such, parents need to contact Fit For Sport directly in order to register and book a place for their child(ren).

Fit For Sport are the UK’s experts in engaging and educating children, young people and families through activity, and have been doing this for over 20 years. They do this through their Train, Support and Delivery models. They currently work in over 250 schools across London. Fit For Sport successfully deliver a diverse range of sports and activities in line with national curriculum requirements to over 250,000 children every week, working with schools nationwide to raise and improve the quality of school sport and activity.

  • Welcome to Redwing Class - Elm Wood Primary

    December 2017: In Redwing class we have been learning all about Arctic and Antarctica. We made igloos using marshmallows, cotton wool and plastic cups. We also made wonderful paintings using chalk to create Northern lights! Have a look at our amazing artistic work!  Redwing class have made a productive start to the year and have taken no time in settling down into life in Year 2. In Maths, we have learnt about the value of number, including 10 more and 10 less as well as greater than and less than. In our first topic, ‘Journeys’ we have been learning all about noun phrases and time phrases. We will be learning all about London in the following week.. We also painted self-portraits. Come and see our work on display in the classroom! We can’t wait to share our learning with you at our first workshare assembly on Wednesday 8th November at 10.30am.​
